The Last Train to Leominster
Devised and adapted for stage by Geoff Nash
This Conquest production is a work specially written for us and tells some of the story of the Bromyard to Leominster Railway branch line with the kind of songs we sang in the fifties liberally sprinkled throughout. The piece was inspired by the 50th anniversary of the running of the last train along the line in the spring of 1958 before the track was finally taken up and the enthusiasm of those who work so hard to restore parts of it. Whether you are enthusiastic about the railway, interested in our own local history or just enjoy a good sing along then this will be the evening for you.
