Ben Bowden presents: Positively Fourth Street:
Songs from the Village
The show is a celebration of the music, art and poetry that flowed from Greenwich Village in the early 60s. Artists such as Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Gordon Lightfoot, Dave Van Ronk, and Tom Paxton cut their teeth in the coffee houses and cafes in the Village. This show aims to cover their music and celebrate their artistic success. Suddenly it's 1964, the show mixes music, video footage, poetry and stories to recreate a time when music was in the cafes at night and revolution was in the air.
Ben Bowden is a seasoned performer who has played all over Europe in various bands and groups.
