Folk in The Foyer: BouZaTina’ & Atto Mul
Val & Keith combine their love of iconic popular and folk ballads with their passion for traditional Irish music. The name 'BouZaTina' is a combination of their main instruments: Bouzouki and Concertina. Living in Bishop’s Castle in the South Shropshire Hills, as well as performing as a duo Val and Keith form half of the traditional Irish band 'The Flying Toads'.
Atto Mul delivers his crafted musical poetry to a self taught percussive guitar style evolved from roots between Europe and Africa and inspiration beyond.
A philosophical vision of unity runs through poetic mantras for living echoing Jazz, Folk & Reggae.
In acoustic venues and streets , from the West of England to the Mediterranean, Central and South America, to the valleys of South Wales Atto has become a presence performing a unique and personal music but one of universal connection.
