Become involved with your local theatre
The Conquest Theatre is an active and important part of the local community that is run by a group of committed and dedicated volunteers and we need your support! Delivering live plays, music, youth schooling, films and live streaming of cultural events the Conquest Theatre appeals to all ages and attracts visitors from across the local counties.
As a charitable organisation, the Theatre membership play a crucial role in the day-to-day funding and upkeep of the Theatre and without them its ambitious expansion plans for the future would be much more difficult to realise.
By becoming a Member, you will have an input into the future direction of the Theatre. You will be invited to special events, receive a newsletter and be informed of upcoming auditions and performances.
And of course, we are always looking for more volunteers, be it creating scenery, working back stage, taking centre stage in a production, manning the Box Office, serving refreshments or a host of other roles. These roles are always enjoyable and rewarding and enable you to get involved with and ‘give back’ to the local community.

Donations & Gift Aid
Whether you are paying to join the theatre or making a donation if you fill in a Gift Aid form it allows the theatre to reclaim the tax. This means that the theatre gets more money at no extra cost to you! Please ask for a Gift Aid form when applying to join or making a donation or download a Gift Aid form.
Take a seat
The Conquest has an auditorium with raked seating, which makes it possible for everyone to have an excellent view of the stage. The plush velvet seats are extremely comfortable, as many regular visitors have commented. Since it opened in 1991 the theatre has offered seats for sponsorship or dedication. For a donation of not less than £75, you, or your company, may 'take a seat'. A small plaque with your chosen name will be placed on the back of your seat. You might like to support the theatre yourself in this way, or perhaps remember someone you love, or you might like your company to demonstrate its support of the arts in the local community.
Theatre members are always trying to find new ways to raise money for the benefit of the theatre. We welcome any ideas and initiatives you may have.
